2024 - TRI COUNTY TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

 

 

Notice

Didget and Bronco Divisions tournaments will be divided into two divisions.

The intent is to equalize the level of competition based

on the end season regualar season standings.

Seeding for all divisions will follow guidelines under OPERATING RULE  OP8/6 - Head to Head Section

HEAD TO HEAD IS NOT USED AS A SEEDING CRITERIA UNLESS ALL TEAMS TIED PLAYED EACH OTHER

 

Home field designation is given to the higher seed team throughout tournament.

Clarification (President - 7/6/22)

In Semi-Finals & Championship Game the Highest Seeded team advancing will be given the choice of selecting either the early or late game.

The Consolation game (3rd Place) will be played in the time slot remaining

 

Host towns MUST provide neutral umpires if their team is represented in either the Semis or Finals
 

This is a single elimination tournament for all three divisions.

 

Approved BOD (4/6/14):

There is playoff game between the losers in Semi- Finals Games to determine a 3rd Place Finish for League

Awards WILL ONLY BE presented to the 3rd Place - Runner Up & Tournament Champions in the GOLD DIVISION in 2024

BOD voted on 4/14/24 - No Awards for Blue Division for 2024 (Cost Saving - Budget)

 

Gate MUST BE CHARGED BY ALL TOWNS (all proceeds stay with host town)

Adults: $3.00

Students: $1.00

Under 6:  FREE

 

Game Times can be adjusted ONLY IF MUTUALLY AGREED UPON by both teams and APPROVED by League President

Game Times MAY CHANGE if a Town has multiple Games on same date when they have limited field option (MUST BE APPROVED by President)

 

Recommended game times are as follows:

Didget    6:00pm 

Bronco  6:30pm                     

Pony      6:30pm

THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT OR OFFICIAL GAME RULES FOR ALL DIVISIONS

No league tournament games can be moved from the scheduled nights unless weather related.and rescheduling MUST include contacting the League President.

The winning team is RESPONSIBLE submitting the game results and pitching information immediately after the game.

Both teams must keep accurate records of the number of innings the pitchers have pitched.

All coaches are responsible to understand all rules related to playing tournament games

They are different versus regular season rules specifically pitching and rest requirements

ALL BATTING LINE-UP OPTIONS listed if Field Rule FR#8 IS ALLOWED.

 

ALL PITCHERS START WITH ZERO INNINGS - NO CARRY OVER FROM LEAGUE GAMES
